FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE TO BUY, TIMING AND DELIVERY METHODS

Is it possible to buy Riflessi products online?
Riflessi does not sell online and does not authorise its resellers to sell online. Riflessi also does not enter into contractual relations with businesses or their websites that are not part of its network of authorised resellers. Therefore, Riflessi does not guarantee the originality and quality of products purchased from unauthorised retailers or online, as they are not covered by the warranty or support services.

Where can I find Riflessi products close to home?
Riflessi has a widespread presence in Italy with its own sales network of over 300 authorised points of sale, Points and Stores. To find your nearest dealer, or for information, click here.

How long does it take to receive a product from the time of order?
Riflessi delivers all products in standard finishes in 30/40 days from the date of order, while for on-demand finishes, RAL finishes and customised products (where applicable), these are delivered in 45/60 days from the date of order.

Have you purchased at a Riflessi Point or Store and would like to know when the goods will be delivered?
Please ask for information on the delivery date of the ordered products directly to the Point or Store where you made your purchase. Riflessi, to protect privacy, cannot give information on the order directly to the final recipient of the products it distributes through the Points of Sale.

What to do when the product is delivered?
Riflessi sells through the point of sale network and not online, in order to guarantee a delivery and assembly service that is carried out by the point of sale itself. Once assembly has been completed, please check with the operators that the product complies with the order and that assembly has been carried out in a workmanlike manner. In the case of products that include mechanisms, please be shown the operation and try it out directly in the presence of the fitter. You must keep the product instructions in the packaging and read them carefully before using it; always keep all the documentation you receive, for any subsequent needs.

WARRANTIES AND ASSISTANCE

Who provides the warranty on the purchased product?
Warranty work is carried out directly by the dealer where the purchase was made. It is therefore the authorised dealer who is responsible for verifying the possible problem and liability and for opening the service file with the company if necessary.

How long is the product under warranty?
The legal warranty provided by the seller to the consumer is valid for two years from the date of delivery by the company to the retailer.

What product defects are covered by the warranty?
The legal warranty covers conformity defects of the product with respect to the sales contract existing at the time of delivery, i.e. manufacturing defects that become apparent within 24 months, thus excluding defects that have arisen (e.g. due to non-compliance with the instructions for use provided, accidental knocks, stains, lack of or poor maintenance, etc.). The legal warranty is therefore not valid if the damage was caused by the consumer after delivery.

What do I need to do to claim warranty work on my product?
To request warranty service on your product, you must contact the point of sale where you purchased the product directly, providing:

- purchase details (copy of receipt, invoice, etc.);
- a clear description of the problem

- photos documenting the condition of the product.

The Sales Point will contact Riflessi to define the best solution for assistance.

Chairs - Technical Information
Riflessi has carefully selected all the best materials produced in Italy for the production and customisation of its chairs.

Non-deformable upholstery
The seats and backrests are designed to resist stress and wear over time. Riflessi chairs resist deformation due to continuous use over time.

Flexible backrest
An important aspect of a quality chair is the comfort of the seat. Most Riflessi chairs have a flexible backrest to ease your back when leaning back.

Elastic bands in the seat
Available on some models, elastic seat bands make Riflessi chairs more comfortable.

Certified fabrics
All the fabrics of Riflessi chairs are certified, this characteristic allows them to have an identity card that identifies, with extreme transparency, the distinctive and exclusive characteristics of a Made in Italy product. The tests and treatments to which the chairs are subjected make them suitable for the needs, also of commercial activities: resistant, fireproof and stain-resistant.

Structure
Riflessi chairs, classic or modern in style, are created using epoxy powder-coated steel frames fully upholstered in leather, soft leather, imitation leather, velvet and a variety of fabrics, or with painted or chrome-plated legs. Do not stand with your feet on the seat, do not rock and do not sit on the backrest, we accept no responsibility for improper use of the product.

Use
Indoor use only.

Mirrors - Technical Information
Riflessi mirrors are design objects, a distinctive signature on the walls of the home. Always inspired by primary shapes that denote a sense of good taste and measure, Riflessi mirrors are one of a kind and are born from the reinterpretation of precious materials and innovative craftsmanship. They are made of top-quality silvered glass. The frames are made of aluminium, steel, painted metal, mirror, crystal, polycarbonate, wood in the sample finishes, covered in gold, silver, copper, white gold, black gold or bronze leaf and cast from moulds, a technique that makes it possible to create irregular and sinuous shapes obtained by heating the materials to high temperatures. The metal frames are made from 20/10 laser-cut sheet metal and painted with epoxy powders. The leaf-covered frames are handcrafted and protected with transparent water-based paints.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

How can products be cleaned in general?
Only use a damp cloth to clean the article. For the good preservation of wooden products, we recommend not exposing them to direct light. Riflessi chairs can be cleaned with simple measures specified for each individual type of fabric

How to clean chairs covered in New Tailor fabric?
The water repellency of the fabric is given by a special finishing called Nanotex; this is, in practice, a nano (ultra-small) fluorocarbon structure that binds to the yarns at a molecular level. Unlike normal fluorocarbon structures that are applied to the fabric as a film that tends to exfoliate with use, Nanotex finishing binds each of its molecules to the individual fibre. In practice, each molecule is independent of its neighbour. The advantage is that damage due to use and washing remains limited to the single damaged molecule without affecting neighbouring molecules. The treatment will withstand a large number of machine washes at 30°C on the gentle cycle. The advantage of this type of treatment is that it allows fabrics to remain breathable. In fact, the finish is not deposited on the surface like a film, but completely and exclusively covers the yarns without occluding the interstices present between the weaves of the fibres, thus allowing the passage of air and water vapour.

How to clean chairs covered in Leather?
Riflessi chairs may be cleaned with simple expedients such as the regular use of a soft, dry cloth to dust them or, in the case of light stains, the wiping of a damp cloth on the surface or soaked in a solution of water and neutral detergent, taking care to dry immediately after the treatment and not to rub but to dab delicately from the edges to the centre of the stain.

How to clean Imitation Leather upholstered chairs?
Washing - Dust gently and in the case of light stains wipe the surface with a damp cloth or neutral detergent solution, rinsing with water, without wringing. Allow to dry inside out, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight. Iron inside out at low temperature. For localised and more stubborn stains (oil, grease, cosmetics, ink, coffee, liquor, chewing gum, etc.) we recommend the following instructions: dissolve the stain promptly with ethyl alcohol diluted (colourless liquid) in 20% water, blot and then treat with a neutral detergent solution, rinse well.

IMPORTANT: For chairs upholstered in imitation leather, light colours must never be brought into contact with fabrics and garments treated with non-fixed dyes or with poor dye fastness (e.g. the colour indigo in jeans-type clothing fabrics), in order to avoid colour release stains and halos whose removal cannot be guaranteed.

How to clean chairs upholstered in Econabuk?
Washing - Dust gently and in the case of light stains wipe the surface with a damp cloth or neutral detergent solution, rinsing with water, without wringing. Allow to dry inside out, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight. Iron inside out at low temperature. Do not use solvents.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS - The light colours must not be brought into contact with fabrics and garments treated with unfixed dyes, or with poor dye fastness, in order to avoid stains and haloes of dyes whose cleanliness we cannot guarantee.

How to clean fabric chairs Smacchia?

Daily Maintenance
For routine maintenance of your chair, we recommend daily vacuuming of the entire surface. You can use a household hoover fitted with a suitable brush.

Liquids
Absorb the excess first with paper towels and then wipe with circular movements using a damp cloth.

Grease, oil, ink
Absorb the excess first with paper towels and then rub in circular motions using a damp cloth and repeat the process if necessary. If the stain persists, let the fabric dry and use a little neutral detergent put directly on the stain and repeat the process with a damp cloth.

Dust
Remove dust with a household hoover.

Washing (for removable models only)
For the ordinary care of the seat, washing is not necessary. However, in the case of large stains, please refer to the following instructions before washing:

- Machine washable, gentle cycle (max. 30°C)
- Do not spin
- Do not use bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not wring or twist
- Do not iron
- Covers can be dry-cleaned.

How to clean Ischia Smacchia fabric chairs?
The special "Smacchia" protection allows for quick and easy cleaning of most everyday stains (coffee, wine, fruit juice, ketchup, ice cream, biros, etc.). Fabrics with the 'Stain-Free' protection system have each fibre surrounded by a special layer that acts as an invisible shield against stains. Even if the stain apparently penetrates the fabric, it remains on the surface of the fibre and is therefore easier to clean. All you need is a clean sponge and water!

When unintentionally spilling liquid
Absorb immediately with an absorbent paper towel. Repeatedly turn or change the napkin so that the stain does not transfer into the fabric.

For thicker materials such as tomato puree
First carefully remove most of the substance from the surface with a table knife, then use a damp sponge and clean the remains of the stain with gentle circular movements. Then absorb with a good paper towel until dry. A clean paper towel must be used each time! Repeat if necessary.

How to clean wood products?
For periodic cleaning of wood products use a damp cloth soaked in neutral soap well diluted in water, or specific products. Always wipe with a dry cloth or paper towels after each application. Do not use abrasive products.

For surfaces with a matt finish, do not use wax-based or similar products for wood that could make the surface shiny. In the event of accidental spills of substances or liquids, immediately blot the surface with absorbent paper or a clean, dry cloth. Avoid proximity to heat sources. Expose veneered or lacquered wooden tops evenly to light, e.g. by periodically opening table extensions which are stored inside the frames, or by periodically moving any objects such as vases and accessories resting on the surface. Avoid the absorption of liquids from the floor on parts resting on the floor and contact with chemicals used for cleaning floors.

How to clean methacrylate / polycarbonate products?
Dust surfaces regularly with a microfibre cloth. Clean with a soft cloth and an anti-static furniture spray, WITHOUT ALCOHOL, or alternatively use a mild soap and water solution. Do not use any type of alcohol or abrasive cloth/sponge.

How to clean Painted or Chrome Metal products?
Blot stains with a cloth or absorbent paper. For periodic cleaning, use a sponge dampened with a little diluted neutral soap or specific products. Then dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive products.

How to clean glass top products?
For periodic cleaning of glass tops, use specific crystal cleaning liquids, which are readily available on the market, or neutral soap. Do not use powder detergents or any other substance containing abrasives as these substances may scratch the surfaces.

How to clean products with a Ceramic Top?
Ceramic tiles can be cleaned very easily. In general, to clean your ceramic countertop on a daily basis, you can use damp, well wrung out cloths and/or non-abrasive sponges with warm water and possibly diluted neutral detergents according to the indications provided on their packaging. It is always important to carry out preventive tests on a small portion of the material with the product you intend to use, to check that it will not damage the surfaces. Halos or stains found on surfaces are usually the result of incorrect and thorough cleaning. Remember that the easier a stain is to remove, the quicker it is removed. For thorough cleaning, alkaline detergents can be used (except for polished finishes), taking care to follow the instructions on the labels of the products used. For grease stains, there are various ready-to-use degreasing products on the market that guarantee quick and easy cleaning. However, we recommend always testing them first in a corner that is not too visible, to avoid unpleasant halos or discolourations that are impossible to restore later. Apply a small amount of product to the stain and rub with a soft sponge until the stain has disappeared, then rinse with plenty of water and dry. If food residues have dried and hardened on a surface (e.g. chewing gum, sauces, grease, etc.), they should be removed using a rounded plastic scraper or a lightly abrasive (non-iron) sponge. Then wash the top and rinse it with clean water and a detergent product (always first tested in an inconspicuous corner) for normal cleaning. For limescale stains on a matt finish (glass marks, etc.), pour an anti-limescale product (such as Viakal or similar) over the surface and leave for a maximum of 1 minute. Rinse with plenty of water and dry. Follow the recommendations for use provided by the manufacturer of the anti-limescale product. Viakal should not be used on the polished finish, but a rounded plastic scraper should be used. For silicone stains, use a scraper and a drop of solvent (no dichloromethane, methylene dichloride, dichloramine). Rinse with plenty of water and dry.

IMPORTANT: Do not leave acidic substances on the surface for long periods that could alter the glossy finish. Avoid contact with printer or indelible inks.
