The Pantone Color Institute has chosen the color of 2023, PANTONE 18-1750 Viva Magenta: a shade of "shaded crimson red that presents a balance between warm and cool."

Inspired by the red of cochineal, one of the most precious dyes belonging to the family of natural dyes, Viva Magenta is a pulsating and expressive color, which in interiors can be juxtaposed with delicate hues but also with bright tones, with which it creates interesting contrasts.
